eDiscovery for legal and compliance teams
When regulators, courts or auditors request documents, the legal department has to deliver quickly and cleanly. We process the data, and you stay in control with roles per case and a log that cannot be altered.
- Access per case, from case lead to external expert
- Roles
- No log entry can be edited after the fact
- Immutable
- Sign-in to Sinacluster, data encrypted in transit and at rest
- 3 factors
- Penetration test of Sinacluster, certificate available on request
- SySS
Requests arrive without warning.
The data is scattered across the whole company.A request for information from a regulator, a special audit, a lawsuit from a former business partner: for legal and compliance teams, the work often starts with the question of where the relevant documents are in the first place. Mailboxes, project drives, archives of former systems and chat histories are all part of it, and the deadline is usually shorter than expected.
Leaving the search to your own IT produces mountains of data but no overview. Using an external platform means clarifying where the data is processed and who can access it. In both cases the question comes up later of who saw, tagged and disclosed what.
Our forensic data processing brings the sources into one index that your team searches in Inspector. You grant access per case, and every action is in the log. If a specific suspicion inside the company is involved, the page on internal investigations goes further.
Control over every case.
Features for legal and compliance.- 01
One case, one collection
Every matter gets its own index with its own access rights. Documents from different proceedings never mix.
- 02
Roles per case
Case lead, reviewers and external experts receive exactly the rights their task requires. An expert may, for instance, only see objects with a particular tag.
- 03
Immutable log
Intakes, sign-ins, tags and exports are recorded. No entry can be changed or removed afterwards.
- 04
Targeted disclosure
For an authority or the other side you export exactly the released objects as a PST archive or report. Privileged correspondence stays out.
- 05
Data location Germany
Your documents never leave Germany: we process them in house or in certified data centres in Eschborn and Frankfurt. That makes documentation for data protection and internal audit easier.
- 06
A fast first assessment
In AI mode Inspector answers questions about the collection with sources. Nobody has to read thousands of documents for an initial assessment.
Who may see what is settled.
Case members and log in one view. The case lead assigns roles and access for each case separately. In the example, two colleagues review different sources, and an external expert sees only 214 objects tagged as relevant.
- 01
Access by source
One reviewer works in communication and documents, the other in communication and audio.
- 02
Appointing experts
External experts get their own access, limited to a single tag.
- 03
Three factors
All case members sign in with three factors, and computing happens in Eschborn and Frankfurt am Main.
How your team responds to a request.
From receipt to disclosure.- 01
Define the scope
You determine which entities, people, periods and systems are affected. We help with the question of which exports are needed for that.
- 02
Take over the data
Your IT delivers the exports in person or through an encrypted upload. At intake we record a hash for every file.
- 03
Review and tag
Your team and instructed law firms review in parallel in Sinacluster. Tags and notes are visible immediately to everyone authorised.
- 04
Disclose and prove
Released objects go out as a PST archive or report. The log documents what was exported, when and by whom.
What you keep.
For internal audit, regulators and the board.Compliance also means being able to explain later what was done. That is why every case documents not only results but also the way there.

What convinces legal departments.
Three points for internal approval.- 01
Verifiable security
Penetration test by SySS GmbH, three-factor sign-in, encryption in transit and at rest. We share the certificate for your vendor assessment.
- 02
No platform of your own
Instead of running eDiscovery software yourself, you use Inspector per case. Costs only arise when a matter comes up.
- 03
Working with law firms
External lawyers work in the same collection as your team, with their own roles. Documents no longer have to be sent back and forth.
Questions from legal departments.
On security, access and cost.Your question is not listed? Write to us.
We share the certificate of the penetration test by SySS GmbH as well as details on data location, encryption and sign-in procedure. We are happy to answer further points from your questionnaire individually.
Yes. Every matter is a separate case with its own collection, roles and log. Access in one case does not automatically apply to another.
The case lead creates accounts with a suitable role for the firm. The lawyers then review in the same collection as your team, and shared tags are immediately visible to everyone authorised.
We quote processing per case by data volume, and access to Sinacluster by duration, data volume and team size. You receive a quote as soon as data volume and sources are known.
Then your team reviews on a review laptop without any network hardware. Inspector and the processed data are installed on it, and the device stays on your premises.
