eDiscovery for law firms
For large-scale litigation, internal investigations and access requests: we process your clients' data, and your team reviews it in Inspector. Privileged correspondence is tagged and stays out of the export.
- A dedicated tag for legally privileged correspondence
- Privilege
- External experts only see what you release
- Experts
- Exports for the other side, the court or the client

- Client data is processed here and nowhere else

One mandate, hundreds of thousands of documents.
And a single overlooked email can tip the case.Whether it is a damages claim, a cartel case or the review of a compliance breach: as soon as a company's data comes into play, the review effort quickly outgrows what a team can handle on the side. Mailboxes of several managing directors, project folders and chat histories have to be reviewed, assessed and prepared for briefs in a short time.
At the same time, the demands on diligence rise. Correspondence with lawyers must not reach the other side by mistake, client data does not belong on servers outside Germany, and in the end every statement in a brief should trace back to a specific document.
With our eDiscovery, Sinabis Analytics takes care of the technical side. We process the data forensically, and your team works on the legal assessment in Inspector. For cases with mailboxes only, there is the leaner email review.
What law firms get done in Inspector.
From the first research to production.- 01
Fact finding
Search people, periods and terms across all sources at once. The timeline shows when communication on a topic clusters.
- 02
Protect privilege
Lawyer correspondence is tagged as privileged. These objects are automatically excluded from export, and the log shows who set the tag.
- 03
Compare versions
Draft contracts and modified versions are detected. Inspector shows which passages changed between two versions.
- 04
Ask the collection
In AI mode you ask, for example, when two people were first in touch. The answer names the documents it relies on, so it can still be cited in a brief.
- 05
Team and experts
Partners, associates and external experts get roles per case. Experts only see released tags, and every access is recorded.
- 06
Production
Selected emails go out as a PST archive with metadata, and summarised findings as a report with sources for the file and the client.
Tagged, filtered, exported.
A hit list just before disclosure.Out of the 47 hits for “Interconnect”, the team has tagged two emails as relevant, and a third carries the privileged tag. The export produces a PST archive that contains only the selected objects.
- 01
Relevant
Two messages from June 2004 are tagged and selected for export.
- 02
Privileged
The email from 11 June 2004 stays tagged in the collection but never leaves it.
- 03
Export_Beweise.pst
Two objects with their metadata, ready for the other side.
How a mandate runs.
With clear handovers at every stage.- 01
Agreeing the scope
You name sources, period, people involved and deadline. Within one business day we assess process and effort, directly with the client if you wish.
- 02
Data intake
The client's IT delivers mailbox exports, drives or images, in person or through an encrypted upload. We record the hash of every delivery right away.
- 03
Processing and review
We process the data into one index. Your team reviews remotely over VPN in Sinacluster or on a review laptop in your office.
- 04
Assessment and disclosure
Your team tags relevant and privileged documents. For disclosure you export only what has been released, with complete documentation.

Why law firms work with us.
What makes the difference in a mandate.- 01
Client data in Germany
Client data sits only with us in house or in certified data centres in Eschborn and Frankfurt. No data goes to platforms outside Germany.
- 02
Predictable per mandate
We bill by the data volume and effort of a case. The quote can be passed on to the client before work begins.
- 03
Technology without a project
Your firm needs no platform of its own and no weeks of training. Inspector works like a search form, and we handle the processing.

Documents tagged as privileged are automatically excluded from export. In addition, the log records who set which tag, so the review can be traced later.
Yes. The client's IT delivers mailbox exports, drives or images directly to us, in person or through an encrypted upload. Your firm remains the client of record and decides who gets access later.
Yes. The one-month deadline under Art. 12(3) GDPR is hard to meet without tooling when mailboxes are large. In Inspector you search for all messages and documents about the data subject and export them together.
Yes. Experts receive their own access, which can be limited to specific tags. Every one of their sign-ins and actions is visible in the log.
That depends on data volume and sources. Once you have described the case in the contact form, we usually give you a realistic schedule by the next business day.
