eDiscovery software and service
We process emails, documents, chats and audio forensically. Your team searches the entire collection in Sinabis Inspector, offline on a review laptop or together over VPN.
- documents in a single result list
- 1 million
- Emails, files, chats, appointments, folders and audio in one interface
- 6 sources
- Review on laptops without a Wi-Fi module and without an Ethernet port
- Offline
- AI mode names the source documents behind every answer

Too much data to review by hand.
And too little time until the deadline.A single matter quickly brings hundreds of gigabytes: mailbox exports from several custodians, file servers, chat histories, scans and call recordings. Opening this data folder by folder costs weeks. And the connections that matter usually sit between the sources, not inside one file.
Then there is the question of evidence. Every copy has to be explainable, metadata such as sender, timestamps and attachments must not change during processing, and in the end it should be clear who tagged which finding and when. Ordinary office software was never built for that.
eDiscovery solves both at once. Electronically stored information is preserved, processed, merged into one index and then reviewed in a targeted way. At Sinabis Analytics we handle the forensic data processing, and your team then works on the actual question in Inspector.
What Inspector does with your data.
Six features that save time in review.- 01
One search across all sources
A single search field for emails, documents, chats, appointments and transcribed audio. Hits appear while you type, even in collections with millions of objects.
- 02
Filters investigators need
Date range, participants, number of people involved, attachments and subject. Terms can be matched exactly or excluded, so thousands of hits become a list you can actually review.
- 03
Spot similar versions
Inspector finds copies, drafts and modified versions of a document and shows which sentences were added or removed between two versions.
- 04
Search audio like text
Recordings are transcribed and become searchable. One click on a hit jumps to the point in the conversation where the term is spoken.
- 05
AI mode with sources
Ask the whole collection questions in your own words, for example who was in touch with whom. Every answer points to the documents it relies on. Judging the answer remains up to your team.
- 06
Tag and export
Tag findings as relevant, for review or as privileged. Exports come as a PST archive or a report, with the metadata of the originals.
What a case looks like in Inspector.
Every source on one start page.Once processing is done, your team opens the case and lands on its overview. Each kind of data has a tile with its number of objects, and one click leads into the matching search.
- 01
Emails and appointments
Communication with attachments, narrowed down by period, participants and attachments.
- 02
Chats and documents
Chat histories open like a conversation, and files and records sit in the same index.
- 03
Audio and folders
Audio files are searchable like text. The file explorer shows the folder structure of the originals.
From storage media to a result list.
Four steps, each one documented.- 01
Handover of the data
You hand over hard drives, forensic images or mailbox exports in person or through an encrypted upload. We record a SHA-256 hash for every evidence item at handover.
- 02
Processing in house
We work on forensic copies, extract emails and attachments, recognise text in scans, remove duplicates and build one index per case. Collections that consist only of mailboxes get a dedicated email review.
- 03
Review in Inspector
Your team searches, filters and tags. Either on a preconfigured review laptop without any network or in Sinacluster, where several reviewers work at the same time with shared tags.
- 04
Export for the file and the client
Tagged findings leave as a PST archive or report. Before export we calculate the hashes again, which proves that the data has not changed since handover.
What you hold at the end.
Not just hits, but a collection that stands up.Every eDiscovery engagement ends with results you can reuse: in the case file, in an expert opinion or in the conversation with your client.
- Index
- One searchable collection per caseExtracted, deduplicated, with metadata preserved.
- Review
- Inspector with roles and permissionsOn the review laptop or over VPN, access granted per case.
- Export
- PST archive and reportTagged emails with all metadata, findings with source references.
- Proof
- Hash logHashes at handover and before export, any deviation shows immediately.
- Log
- Audit log of every accessWho searched, tagged and exported what, and when.
Why Sinabis Analytics.
Software and processing from one team.- 01
Our own software
We build Inspector ourselves. When a case brings an unusual format, we add it to the processing instead of waiting for another vendor's update.
- 02
Data stays in Germany
Processing happens in house or in certified data centres in Eschborn and Frankfurt am Main. If you prefer, the entire review runs without any network connection.
- 03
Tested infrastructure
SySS GmbH has penetration tested Sinacluster. Sign-in uses three factors, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Questions about eDiscovery.
What should be settled before the first engagement.Your question is not listed? Write to us.
Digital forensics secures and examines individual systems, for example to reconstruct what happened on a computer. eDiscovery starts with the content: large volumes of emails, documents and chats are processed so that a team can work through them in a targeted way. Many matters need both.
Inspector is built for collections with millions of objects, and result lists hold up to one million documents. We plan very large or unusually mixed collections with you in advance so that processing and access fit the deadline.
You do not need your own server environment. Either we deliver a review laptop with Inspector and the processed data installed, or your team signs in to Sinacluster over an encrypted VPN.
Documents can be tagged as privileged. Objects with that tag are left out of the export, and the log records who set the tag.
Use the contact form and state data volume, sources and deadline. The assessment of process and effort usually follows within one business day.
